I started karate training at the age of 11 at local Higashi karate clubs where I practiced for the next 7 years up to 3rd kyu.
I then went on to study Lau Gar Kung Fu and Shaolin Gong Fu under Sifu Neil Genge for 2 years.
Then on to gymnastics for 2 years, and another 2 years of kick boxing.
I started training with Sensei Peter Dennis 8th Dan 1992 and have graded up the ranks until the present day where I am currently a 5th Dan.
I have competed and won in various competitions in Kata and Kumite to represent the association, and represented F.E.K.O at the English championships, English 3 on 3, Jersey international championships and WKC world championships in Aberdeen June 2001.
I am a qualified F.E.K.O referee and judge and the SenShinRyu Karate Association chief coach.

I have gone on to study for 26 years in karate, kick boxing, boxing and MMA.
